Kim's Cat

   

This is a story based on a real cat that picks up rubbish from a school.                           

R2 THE CAT                                              

After a dark stormy and wet day a cat by the name of R2 is on a hunt. Not for birds or mice like other
cats NO!!!!. He is on the hunt for rubbish. Rubbish that the school children have brought to school.
He collects chip bags, glad wrap and plastic. Then brings it back to his mum Kim.

Meow meow meow… “What is it R2? Eww yuck, why did you bring all this rubbish to the house?”
asked Kim. The next day on Saturday morning Kim wakes up to a little hill of rubbish on the floor.
Ice block wrappers, ice block sticks and money all from the sausage sizzle the school held on Friday.
Kim returns the money to the school, and it was the money they made from the sausage sizzle.
This continues for years. Every Saturday Kim wakes up to rubbish on the floor.
R2 is now a 9 year old cat and still collects rubbish from the school, and brings it back to Kim’s house.

In room five today we had to resch 7 facts about orangutans I work with my friend Jazmyn and we completed it here is what we found out.

Dog surprise

 Today we got a very good surprise 2 dogs visited our classroom they got plenty of pats as all the students fell in love with them. My next post will be writing about my horse mac.

             

my goals

Here are my goals for the week most of them are school goals but the bottom 2 are my home goals for the week.

Goals

• Use template to make packaging for my muesli bar
• Use persuasive words that make people want to try my bar
• Cooking work as a team and contribute
• Do the beep test and get a new high score
• Jump mac over the 2 new jumps
• Be helpful around the house

my poem

for reading this week we had to make up a recipe to either be a success or a disaster I chose to make one about success this is it.

• ½  c of positivity                     mix positivity and honesty in a large bowl
• 1 c of Honesty                        add respect and whisk till light a fluffy
• 2 tbsp of Respect                   next put a pinch of creativity and self belief in pinch of creativity                     a separate bowl add confidence and mix till the
• 2 ts of self belief                     mixture turns purple combined the two bowls     
• ¼ of a cup of confidence         and put on the stove store every 20-30 seconds
• A dribble of happiness            put a dribble of happiness and two dribbles of
• 2 dribbles of kindness             kindness well on the stove take off when the      
• 1 tbsp of perseverance           orange add perseverance and a hint of success
• A hint of success                    mix well but don't over do it you will know it is
• ½ a c of understanding           done when it is a doe and not sticky then add
• A dash of  flexibility                 ½ cup of understanding then put it into the oven
• ½ a c of foresight                    cook for 30/40 minutes for the frosting add
• ½ a c of hindsight                    flexibility foresight and hindsight when the                                              success cake is done put the frosting on top and eat

A pitcher book Willy wants to wee-wee it was a funny and entertaining book about a boy how needs to grow up and not use his potty because he is to old he bounces around look for a place to pee then he realizes that he can use the toilet so he uses the toilet and just in time. Newspaper article New zealand expecting horrible weather cyclone expected to hit new zealand biggest cyclone ever recorded in new zealand history bad weather was expected so most schools where sut for a couple of days. A book made into a movie charlotte's web it is a book made into a move there is a spider how can spin words into her web that people can read she dies in the end and is is very sad in the movie she has eggs in her meyro and the pig names on of them charlotte in memory of her mom because they were very close to each other. A chapter book The twits it is a funny book about to people a girl and a boy that are married and have one thing in common they are both twits they keep monkeys in a cage and for them to perform for them and they kill birds and make pie out of them but that animals get revenge on them and they will never ever forget it. A chapter book charlie and the chocolate factory It is about a boy how is very poor he lives with both sets of his grandparents and his mum and dad they all live in a little house and can barely afford to put food on the table till one day mr willy wonka ins having a competition however gets a gold ticket gets a tor of the factory charley gets a ticket and wins the hole factory he is no longer poor or in need for money anymore. A newspaper article A tourist was on his honeymoon in new zealand he was driving to fast and cracked into a power pole and split it in half he and his wife are fin but he has to pay a large amount of money for all the damage he caused he pleaded guilty to reckless driving. A book set in the past War horse it is about a boy and his pet horse the horse goes to war so the boy makes a decision to go to the war with him it is also a movie to miss D read it to use last year here is a photo A novel Witches by roald it is about a boy his grandma tells him stories about the witches like they look like normal people and dress like them to it is a great book miss cara read it to me when I was a year 4

The little blue penguin

This is a piece of writing I have been working on for a week the goal was to make It
really descriptive. The little blue penguin is my writing but if you go down to the
bottom there is an example. The words I changed or added are in orange.

A beautiful sunny day not a dark cloud in the sky crystal clear water the perfect  day for a
swim a tiny blue penguin Named Jazmyn thought. But little did she know a ugly brown
spotted seal Named Izaak was thinking the same thing to. Into the chilly water they went
soon after they got in the seal spotted the penguin with his to beady little eyes. I could do
for a snack he thought. He chased the little blue penguin. The penguin ran so fast she
could run on water spriting flipper after flipper safely onto land. You got away this
time but I will get you next time he shouted out. Jazmyn laid on the sand for a wile
catching her breath. Then she heard it the cheers of the other penguins you did it you
out ran the ugly brown seal well done Jazmyn. From that day ford she was famous
and rich known as the world's fastest penguin.

 Making it more exciting to hook the reader in and make them keep reading.

Once I saw him I knew… He was small,fragile and skinny with one foot amputated .
Just standing on 3  feet keeping his balance gazing at me for awhile and I could tell  he
remembered me my long lost dog.
