this term we done a reading challenge called bookopoly it was a good challenge and at the end of the term the people that have done the challenge get to go on an end of term trip this is what I have done.

In room 5 we have got a new stratig this is something we can use to help us find a better word that has the same meaning. This has helped us in our writing a lot.

This term we are learning about space and planets have a look through the side and you will see what I have learnt and found out this term.

                  

how inspires me?

Clarke Johnston inspires me especially when i'm up on my own horse he competed in the olympics he played for New Zealand equestrian I like his passion for horses and that is why he inspires me the most here are some photos of him and his horses.

On Tuesday our whole School and Kamara School  went to the new Marae down by hokitika. We all had some fun and we learnt about the maori culture and about the 4 big wars that went on with different tribes. Some people stayed the night and the next day they went to the river and the beach we had great fun at the Marae.

            Sophie and I have been work on a slide to show the little kids how the hundreds boards work                           this is the sild we made for them and we hope they learn something from it.


                      

Hi guys its Crystal and on friday we are going to climb a mountain and eat lunch on top of the mountain with a great few and after that we are coming back to school and having a free afternoon I will post photos on monday or tuesday.

    Hi it's Crystal and in room 5  In math we were learning about the line of symmetry in logo's these are some                                                                 of the one's I found  

                        

      In reading we read a book about fungi it told us where you can find  fungi and thet it grows on rotten                              wood read or look through the slide for more information.            




                      

On Monday the 29th of may we had our cross country there were a lot of other schools there but I knew if I ran my hardest I could make it into west coast so I ran my hardest and I go 3 out of 13 our next race is next week and I can't wait.

                   
In room 5 every second friday we do something we want to learn about or something to teach someone about.


                 

                   In room 5 Sophie and I done some maths with miss Devlin and we shared it with the class we enjoyed learning this problem with miis Devlin.


                      

                 

In room 5 we had mr cook and he brought in a microscope and some dead guys we got a chance to do flies or spiders Sophie,siemon,Izaak and I done spiders and we made a poster read the poster and you will find out what we learned.

     Hi its Crystal and today I made a slid about a book that where Reading it called A tail of two extinctions
